marker reached!

Okay I have reached a split time point on my hat. I have finished the 8 inches of 2K, 2P for the brim. Now I'm starting the chevron pattern for the hat.

Ravelympics are go!

I would like to try and make two of these over the Ravelympics. I'll see how the first one works out.
Just doing a catch up as I'll be blogging about my progress on the hats.


I'm doing the Hitter hat that one of the Leverage ravelry group ppl managed to pattern out.

5 Feb 2010 - swatching paton silk bamboo to see if it will work.

9 Feb 2010 - paton silk bamboo tension square needed size 2 needles for it to work.

now will swatch paton diploma gold dk

Paton diploma gold dk came out to 25 stitches per 10 cm on size US 3 needles (3.25 mm).

I'll head into town tomorrow and see if I can find some 3.0 MM needles that should totally suss the diploma gold.

Now I'm going to try the cygnet superwash DK stuff.
Cygnet Superwash came out at 23 stitches on US 3 needles (3.25 mm)
